bmw e46 m3 reviewIn driving a car like the m3 for each activity is fun. not only because of luxury cars used to be but it is also inclusive of environmentally friendly cars. m3 car is also a loud voice when the engine in hot conditions. like a Ferrari in Blackyard, m3 also has significant competition. Bigger brake discs, steering rack faster, revised and your beautiful eyes on the dashboard.

Sport button that always seems to be a surplus of just sharpen the response throttle.Dan good news is that CS has a sharpness and accuracy of the M3 is never quite reached. You will see the first new steering rack, with a weighting meatier and more immediate response.

Then you will realize that the journey seems flat, less distracted by the sharp bumps and bumps that pass under the wheels. a conventional six-speed manual is suitable to perform activities by using this car. wide trunk section can be used to menyimmpan stuff.

to make purchases of this type of car, the brakes need to be checked. The pace and the company is but clay set-up just gets better and trademarks M3 pogo-ing movement never materialized. there are car owners who feel the fuel used is also more efficient although use has been used in the distance.

Porsche Cayman Review

The 2012 Porsche Cayman rank 1 of 6 Luxury Sports Cars. The ranking is based on our analysis of 65 published reviews and test drives of the Porsche Cayman. This car is one of the best luxury sports car when ini.Meskipun not the most powerful car in the class or luxury, it has superb handling. And, although it may not have the strength on paper cars like the Chevrolet Corvette, light weight makes it feel faster than his power numbers may menyarankan.Cayman it up a half inch higher to meet the sleek roofline slope. For those who have recently returned from seasonal whaling, the Cayman S is a new version of the hard-hat-Boxster mid-engine Porsche Boxster with a hardtop, or mit Kopf as a German might say. It is also a Boxster mit new front bumper, titanium colored body accents, and extra body curve.

For Everything about the Porsche Cayman fantastic drive and occupants and their luggage all fit brilliantly. Excellent residual values.
Against the Dashboard can be more clear and simple to use, supplies are limited, so you may have to wait to get one.

2013 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG

The CLK63 AMG Black Series is one of my all-time favourite cars. It's got a mad motor, hooligan-friendly handling and sounds like a whole grid of DTM racers. It's not the fastest or the best handling car you can buy, but it's definitely one of the most fun.

So I was expecting more of the same from the SL65 AMG Black Series, but I didn't get it. For all its killer, stealth fighter looks it's completely different character car from the CLK. Rather than being a race track refugee, it's more a super-sonically fast road jet.Mercedes-AMG is embarking on the new roadster season in inimitably dynamic style: following on from the launch of the SL63 AMG, the top eight-cylinder model, there now comes the presentation of the new Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG, the V12 roadster in the line-up from the Stuttgart-based manufacturer. The AMG 6.0-litre V12 "biturbo" (twin-turbocharged) engine develops a maximum output of 463 kW (630 hp) and maximum torque of 1000 newton metres. The result: exceptional performance, impressive power delivery and effortlessly superior dynamics. As with the SLS AMG super sports car, the use of an all-aluminium bodyshell results in a drastic reduction in weight. The new SL65 AMG is some 170 kilograms lighter than before. The expressive front section is dominated by the new "twin blade" radiator grille and the front apron's lower cross strut in high-sheen chrome.
2013 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG

While the fundamentals of the previous SL65’s SOHC 36-valve, 6.0-liter V-12 remain essentially the same, the 2013 model gets new turbochargers with optimized airflow and an additional 17 hp, for a total of 621. Instead of raising twist in turn, torque remains capped at a rear-tire-melting 738 lb-ft. Mercedes modified the cylinder heads and engine management system to optimize combustion, and those changes, along with a new catalytic converter and an engine stop-start feature, are said to help lower emissions. Also significant is the new model’s switch to an AMG-tuned seven-speed automatic transmission, complete with four operating modes (Controlled Efficiency, Sport, Sport Plus, and Manual), in place of the old five-speed auto. A locking AMG rear differential is standard, and the car adopts electrically boosted steering. The AMG 6-litre V12 biturbo engine with the designation M 279 is based on the M 275 engine used previously and has been comprehensively revised for the new Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG.
2013 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG

New exhaust gas turbochargers with an increased spiral cross-section, new manifolds and wastegate ducts with optimised flow characteristics increase the engine output by 13 kW (18 hp). The multi-spark ignition with twelve double ignition coils not only results in smoother running, but also enables even more effective combustion in combination with a new engine management system with higher performance and optimised cylinder heads. The resulting reduction in exhaust emissions is also due to a large extent to the optimised catalytic converter system. The newly developed AMG sports exhaust system, which has a pipe layout with enhanced flow characteristics, is 3.2 kilograms lighter as a result of a reduction in the wall thickness.
2013 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG

But it is not just the inner qualities of the AMG 6-litre V12 biturbo engine that impress. The powerplant's looks are as inspiring as its performance: the high-quality carbon-fibre and aluminium engine cover reflects the exceptional character of the powerful twelve-cylinder unit. You can make it easier for the car by summoning your inner Stig and being super smooth and precise, but arrive at a corner you haven't seen before and your chances of getting around it cleanly are severely limited. It's not as exaggerated at normal road speeds, but it's still there. It only disappears completely on long sweeping bends, like you might find on the autobahns, which is where the car belongs.
2013 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG

Not that any of this is really a problem that needs any more dissection. The total production run of the car is just 350 units and only eight of those are currently destined for the UK. With the SLR finishing its run with the 75-unit Speedster next year, this black ops SL will inherit the fastest production Mercedes tag.

Can't argue with that, but I would if anyone said it was also the most fun. That's one title the CLK Black still holds, and tightly too.

2014 Mazda CX-5 Gets New 2.5-Liter Engine

2014 Mazda CX-5 Gets New 2.5-Liter Engine
The 2014 is identical to the 2013 in all respects except for two additions: one to make you go faster, one to keep you safer. Yes, there is irony there.

Under the hood is a new 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. The more efficient 2.0-liter found in the 2013 is still available on all trims. The 2.5-liter — available only on Touring and Grand Touring trims — puts out 185 horsepower and 185 pounds-feet of torque and gets 25/32 mpg city/highway for front-wheel drive and 24/30 mpg with all-wheel drive. While not as impressive as the 35 mpg highway figure on the 2.0-liter engine, the 2.5-liter is still more efficient on paper than the Honda CR-V and just revealed 2013 Toyota RAV4.Surprisingly, the new 2.5L won’t have much of an adverse effect on fuel economy: FWD, automatic-transmission 2014 CX-5 models will be rated at 32 mpg on the highway regardless of which engine is equipped. The mileage champ in the CX-5 lineup will remain the 2.0L, six-speed manual model, which returns 35 mpg on the highway. The 2014 Mazda CX-5 Touring and Grand Touring models will get the bigger, 184-horsepower 2.5-liter engine. It delivers 29 more horsepower than the 155-hp Skyactiv-G 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine in the 2014 Mazda CX-5 Sport model.
2014 Mazda CX-5 Gets New 2.5-Liter Engine

The 2014 CX-5 with the 2.5-liter engine is linked to a six-speed automatic transmission only — not the six-speed manual transmission on the base model. The CX-5 was the first full manifestation of Mazda’s so-called Skyactiv Technology, a holistic approach to design focusing on weight reduction, efficiency, and mpg. Power is supplied by a new 2.0-liter DOHC direct-injected aluminum four, and there isn’t a whole lot of it: 155 horsepower, 150 lb-ft of torque.A new safety system called Smart City Brake Support is being offered as part of an optional Technology Package. Like similar systems from other brands, this is intended to prevent head-on collisions at low speeds between 3 and 19 mph.

We expect to hear of any changes to pricing before the 2014s go on sale, but it's safe to guess that the 2.5-liter CX-5 will cost a similar premium to the 2.5-liter Mazda3, which is $1,550 more than the 2.0-liter in top trim levels. The current 2013 Mazda CX-5 starts at $21,790. The Touring trim level starts at $24,990. Both prices include $795 in destination charges. The EPA has not yet released fuel economy numbers on the 2014 Mazda CX-5 with the bigger engine. Mazda said there will be "minimal sacrifice" in fuel efficiency with projected 25 mpg in city driving and 32 mpg on the highway for front-wheel-drive models with the larger engine and 24 mpg in city driving and 30 mpg on the highway for all-wheel-drive models. An undersquare design (89-mm bore, 100-mm stroke), the new 2.5 has some interesting engineering details. Its compression ratio is race-engine high at 13:1, but as with the 2.0-liter four, the 2.5 operates on regular unleaded fuel. Also, as a member of the new Skyactiv G engine family, it’s assembled on a line that can accommodate four-cylinder engines that can range from 1.3 to 2.5 liters. What makes this unusual is that the bore centers differ slightly from one displacement to another.
2014 Mazda CX-5 Gets New 2.5-Liter Engine

Speaking of race-car touches, the new exhaust manifold is reminiscent of the old “bundle of snakes” on the Ford GT40. That tangle of tubing that looks like Medusa on a good hair day helps net optimal efficiency, and quick catalyst light-off.

Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Edition 507

Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Edition 507
The Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG is the most potent version of the German automaker's C-Class sedan. The car delivers a whopping 451 horsepower in standard form, putting it comfortably ahead of the BMW M3. With that amount of performance on tap, and a price to match the M3, Mercedes looks to steal at least a few sales away from its cross-country rival. There are very few AMG concoctions we haven’t enjoyed, and the C63 is perhaps our current favorite. Its carrying forward of the M156 naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V-8 when the rest of the Affalterbach clan — bar the SLS AMG GT — is being downsized and turbo’d reminds us just how special the hot C really is. The only way we envision the C63 getting any better is by giving it more power. And that’s just what Benz’s skunk works team has done with the advent of the new 2014 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Edition 507.

You might think it's just a hopped-up version of the already-angry C63 AMG, but it's not. When you drill down into the spec sheet, you find it owes more to its big brother, the AMG SLS, than to its sister car. At 517bhp, it produces 60bhp more than the regular C63 AMG and just 46bhp less than the gullwinged one. The only things I can think of that aren't ecstatic about those numbers are the rear tyres. The Development Package also includes a variable intake manifold painted in titanium grey under the hood, an AMG high-performance braking system with two-piece front discs and red painted brake calipers at all four corners, a carbon-fiber spoiler lip on the trunk lid and an AMG performance steering wheel wrapped in premium leather with a unique grip area. The C63 Edition 507 raises output to—surprise!—precisely 507 horsepower, delivered at 6800 rpm. Maximum torque is capped at 450 lb-ft and arrives at 5200 rpm.
Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Edition 507
Thus emboldened, the Edition 507 surpasses not only the standard C63’s 451 horsepower (481 with the optional development package), but also that of every other vehicle in this class—keeping in mind the 510-hp C63 AMG Black Series was available just for 2012. Mercedes claims a 0-to-60-mph time of 4.1 seconds—three-tenths quicker than the standard C63, and two-tenths up on C63s fitted with the development package—but our most recent test in a C63 with the development package saw us run the sprint to 60 in 3.7 seconds, so expect the 507’s time to be somewhere closer to 3.6. Top speed is electronically limited to 174 mph, up from 155. Fuel consumption likely will remain identical to the standard C63’s EPA estimates of 13 mpg in the city and 19 highway. To advertise all this mechanical change - and keep it channelled down into the track or road - the CBS's exterior styling has also been on the angry sauce. Mercedes would like you to think it looks a teensy bit like the SLS AMG GT3 car, which Mika Häkkinen is campaigning next year, but, of course, it doesn't. The rear diffusers of both cars do sprout proudly out of the back of both cars, and they both have unfeasibly large front- and rear-wheel blisters and sills. But that's about it.
Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Edition 507
Not that it's any problem. With huge air intakes and lightweight gunmetal wheels (11kg lighter a set than standard), the CBS looks just like what it is: a well-heeled hooligan with a season ticket to the track. It can be made to look even harder if you opt for the Aerodynamics Package, which adds a carbon-fibre front splitter, carbon-fibre adjustable rear spoiler and carbon-fibre flics on the side pods. Or, if you want to keep it subtle, the Track Package, which adds super-sticky Dunlop tyres and a rear-axle transmission radiator. The sensible thing to do is spec both. It would be like buying a horse without a saddle if you didn't.Mercedes-Benz has long been known for its safety features, and the C63 AMG will only add to that reputation. In addition to ABS and ESP stability control, the car boasts nine supplemental restraints including two-stage front air bags, a knee air bag for the driver and pelvic air bags which work together with curtain and side air bags to provide extra protection for front occupants in dangerous side-impact collisions.

Hyundai Elantra 2013 Review

Hyundai Elantra 2013 Review
The 2013 Hyundai Elantra is based on the company's fluidic design philosophy. While this design theme is followed across all Hyundai models, it is best described in the Hyundai Elantra. A well proportioned exterior is complemented by a feature rich and comfortable interior. Unlike some other Hyundai models, the Elantra handles admirably at high speeds without compromising on ride comfort. A highly efficient 4-cylinder engine that gets an EPA-estimated 38 MPG on the highway2 comes standard on every Elantra sedan and makes this spacious award-winner a great value for the money.Hyundai’s Elantra is a solid player in the crowded compact-car competition, but it has also faced self-imposed limitations, lacking the nifty hatchback variants offered by competitors like the Ford Focus, Mazda 3, and Subaru Impreza. The deceased Elantra Touring wagon nibbled at this turf but lacked the svelte looks and desirability of many of its five-door rivals. As its name suggests, the GT was intended to be the sportiest of all Elantras. To that end, it boasts a stiffened structure with lots of high-strength steel—a flimsy structure was one of our biggest gripes with the sedan—as well as curb weights (for both the manual and the automatic) that Hyundai cites as lowest in class. Our scales mostly back up Hyundai’s claim, as the Elantra GT weighed in at a relatively light 2949 pounds, just a skosh lighter than a 2012 Ford Focus hatchback manual we’ve tested. The suspension is firmer, with higher spring rates, monotube Sachs rear dampers, and a hefty rear axle with a slightly bigger anti-roll bar integrated into its vee.

One of three body styles stirred into the Elantra mix—including a coupe variant—the GT represents yet another snappy interpretation of Hyundai’s latest design language. Yet aside from the front fascia, it bears little resemblance to the other Elantras. Hyundai's Fluidic Sculpture design enables the Elantra sedan to break free of traditional compact car styling. Designed in Southern California, it integrates a rising roofline and a substantial wheelbase for a sophisticated profile that also gives Elantra best-in-class aerodynamics. The Elantra sedan has more interior passenger volume than compacts like Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic. Technically classified as a midsize car, even the government finds the Elantra sedan exceptional. The GT’s interior appointments and trim are similar to the sedan’s, which is to say attractive and of high quality. As with other current Hyundais, there’s a pile of standard equipment baked into the $19,170 base price. Examples: heated mirrors, heated front seats, remote keyless entry, air conditioning that also cools the glove box, cruise control, driver-selectable steering modes, Hyundai’s Blue Link telematics, satellite radio, fog lights, a USB port and aux input, a six-speed manual, and 16-inch aluminum wheels.

There are two option groups—the performance-oriented Style package ($2750) and the Tech package ($2350). The former was fitted to our test car and adds 17-inch aluminum wheels, slightly firmer suspension tuning, the double sunroof, leather seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a power driver’s seat, aluminum pedal cladding, and auto up-and-down control for the driver’s window. The Tech gear includes a nav system, a rearview camera (the lens lurks behind the logo in the middle of the rear hatch), auto headlights, dual-zone auto climate control, and proximity-key entry and start.

Hyundai Veloster Turbo: New Cars 2013 USA

2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo: new cars 2013 USA
Right now, the Veloster lacks the performance cred to back up its killer looks. But that will change once this 201-hp version hits the streets. The 45 percent boost in horsepower has most folks taking a second look at the Veloster, and hoping this Turbo is a signal that Hyundai is getting as serious about performance as it has been about quality and design over the last few years. Shifting the standard 6-speed manual is a blast. Veloster offers an available 6-speed EcoShift Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) while the Veloster Turbo has the option of a 6-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC. Make your choice and the 1.6L GDI engine delivers an EPA-estimated 37 MPG Hwy2 for the Veloster an EPA-estimated 35 MPG Hwy (M/T)2 for the Veloster Turbo.

High-tech entertainment system. 7-inch multimedia touchscreen. Always-on social connectivity. Now the technology you usually find in your living room is with you when you get behind the wheel. So far, though, signs remain cloudy—the stonking 1.6-liter motor with dual exhaust notwithstanding. Word is the Veloster Turbo gets the same suspension, which is disappointing. The stock Veloster is fun but stiff-kneed and less refined when compared to better-bred sporty cars like VW's GTI—or the Subaru BRZ, which is only somewhat costlier than what we're expecting to see from the Veloster Turbo. Also, ask Mini engineers about controlling torque steer in a 200-hp car with a short wheelbase. That, too, has probably made Hyundai sweat.
2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo: new cars 2013 USA

And that's an understatement. The bold 3-door design, LED headlight accents and raking contour lines make Veloster instantly recognizable. The Turbo includes standard 18-inch alloy wheels, round chrome-tipped dual exhaust, and a special wide-mouthed grille. It's fast. Period. Technically speaking, the twin-scroll turbo has two exhaust gas inlets that provide more efficient power and quicker recovery than a single-scroll turbo. This advanced technology reduces turbo lag, increases low-end power, and provides a more exhilarating driving experience. Our primary reason for getting the matte paint: to see just how much of a pain in the butt it is to live with through all four seasons. As you can see in these photos, the car is currently running through a cold, slushy, snowy Detroit winter, where the hazards of grime and road salt will be of particular interest when it comes time to test the car's cleanability. Stay tuned for more on that.

Paint aside, the Veloster's visuals will no doubt be one of the biggest talking points over our year with the car. Already, this thing is turning heads left and right, and while we're finding that the majority of folks love the way it looks, there's no middle ground with this one. If you don't love it, you hate it. We have yet to meet someone who's on the fence about that one. The Hyundai Veloster is indeed an automotive oddball, and that's part of the reason why we're so drawn to it. Even in base form, the Veloster is a cleverly packaged little wonder that's bursting with personality, and with the added grunt and visual aggression of the Turbo model, there's a lot to talk about.
2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo: new cars 2013 USA

Despite not really fitting into any one specific vehicle segment (unless you dump it into the all-too-vague "compact" class), the Veloster Turbo looks really good on paper, to say nothing of how it looks on the street. It's certainly a head-turner, and we're intrigued by the overall package of an oddly shaped three-door (or four-door?) with some forced induction motivation.
